Ants
Ant colonies can have as many as 500,000 ants living in them! While we only see about 5% of these working together outside the nest, it is near impossible to control an ant problem yourself using off the shelf ant treatments. Trained Pest Professionals are trained in the biology and breeding habits of ants and are able to work with a range of ant treatments to assist you in dealing with your ant infestation.
These include:
• Ant gel baits
• Granular ant baits
• Ant bait stations
• Dusting
• Liquid applications
The location of the ant issue will determine if you require just an internal or external ant treatment. We do not recommend that you spray or disturb the ant trails or the ants themselves. What we do recommend is wiping your bench-tops, under appliances and remove food scraps, wipe any jars of sugar, honey and syrups regularly.

How Does the Ant Treatment Work?
The ant bait and external spray work in the same manner. The ants do the work by carrying the insecticide back to the nest with them. The ants LOVE both the bait and spray, unaware that they are poisonous. They walk over all of it, carry it to the nest, pass the chemicals amongst each other and exterminating the entire colony including the queen from the inside.
The benefit of this treatment too is that no matter where the nest is located, the ants will carry the insecticide with them back to the nest. There is no need to go and search for the nest, as the ants do all the hard work!
You may still see ants for up to 3 weeks post treatment, as the ants have carried the insecticide back to the nest. You will know it is working when the ants appear to be scattered or dying.
